Sanctioned by His Grace the Duke of Newcastle to accept your tender dated 24th Feb 1864 for Rolling Mill, Coining Presses, together amounting to £2761- to be completely delivered in London by the 4th day of September.
It being distinctly understood that the gearing & shaft to be adapted to suit the position of our engines without extra charge, & the Ironwork for annealing furnaces also adapted to our plans.
Payment: cash on the joint certificate of myself or the Master of the Royal Mint.
P. S. This contract to include the whole of the ironwork for the six annealing furnaces in two blocks of three, as shewn in tracing no 3 including the east bearer, wrought iron girders & cast iron plates, smoke door for main flue
